She began her professional career at a major state-owned enterprise in China, where she built a strong foundation in financial operations, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance. During this period, she gained substantial hands-on experience in enterprise taxation, audit coordination, and government reporting procedures, developing a deep understanding of China’s evolving tax system and corporate compliance requirements.

Peggy later served as Finance Director for a prestigious Japanese advertising company in China, the official service provider for international brands such as Panasonic and celebrity Bingbing Fan. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing tax planning, budgeting, financial controls, and compliance management for large-scale commercial campaigns and cross-border business activities. She successfully managed complex tax matters involving corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and expense optimization while ensuring full compliance with Chinese financial and tax regulations.

Over the years, Peggy has advised numerous startups, SMEs, and multinational corporations on tax structuring, financial compliance, and operational efficiency. She has extensive practical experience in tax optimization strategies, foreign-invested enterprise compliance, transfer pricing considerations, and cross-border financial arrangements. As the head of our Legal Team, she leads complex legal and compliance matters for both domestic and international clients, ensuring full alignment with China’s evolving legal, tax, and employment regulations.

Holding dual qualifications as a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Selena combines deep legal knowledge with strong financial and tax expertise. Over the years, she has advised companies across a wide range of industries on tax compliance, employment risk management, payroll-related legal matters, labor dispute resolution, and corporate governance.

Selena has substantial practical experience handling employment contracts, employee termination and severance issues, social insurance compliance, cross-border hiring structures, internal HR policies, and labor arbitration cases. Her work helps foreign-invested enterprises and growing businesses navigate China’s complex labor law environment while minimizing operational and legal risks.

In the area of taxation, Selena has assisted companies with tax structuring, tax risk assessment, audit response, and ongoing compliance management. Shirly Song- Accounting & Payroll Leader

Shirly Song serves as our Accounting & Payroll Compliance Leader, specializing in payroll administration, tax compliance, and financial operations management for both domestic and international businesses operating in China. She holds both the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate and the National Financial Management Certificate, reflecting her strong expertise in accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate financial management.

Before joining our team, Shirly worked for a Japanese Fortune Global 500 company, where she gained extensive hands-on experience managing payroll processing, individual income tax (IIT) filings, social insurance contributions, and financial reporting across complex business operations. Her corporate background equipped her with deep practical knowledge of handling employee compensation structures, cross-border payroll coordination, expense controls, and compliance with evolving Chinese tax and labor regulations.

In her current role, Shirly oversees payroll management, tax filings, bookkeeping, statutory reporting, and ongoing compliance matters for both local and foreign-invested enterprises. She has substantial practical experience in salary calculations, monthly payroll processing, social security and housing fund administration, IIT annual reconciliation, and employer tax compliance. She also works closely with HR and management teams to ensure payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient internal financial procedures.
